Yeay! I'm appointing myself an unofficial beta tester ;D<br>I had no idea Vavoom was more than a year old, either... I just started using it a week ago.<br><br>I got the flickering using opengl in the second board of Hexen (The Seven Portals) I think it may have something to do with a limit to the amount of onscreen "sprites" (even though I have the 3D models installed). It seems the longer I was in it, killing badguys and shooting and whatever else, the worse the flickering became. It was only when looking over a large area though. If I moved closer to the walls (so my view area was smaller, with less objects in it) the flickering stopped. It's not the temp, as I just started my computer moments ago, and it does it in both software and OpenGl modes. The leaves tumbling on the ground create lots of sprites, and with the dead bodies and firing the weapon, I think some limit is being crossed.<br><br>The portals themselves are messed up a bit. The frame graphic inside of the portals is offset, and most of it is black. The red animated portal graphic is there, just behind the black wall.<br><br>These are with v1.11.2, Windows, using opengl (well, software mode where noted <!-- s:P --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" title="Razz" /><!-- s:P -->).<br><br>I'll keep on a-playin', and if I come across anything else, I'll let you know. <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->
